I specialise in solo entertainment for restaurants or hotels, performing popular jazz standards, from latin to blues, via soul and funk grooves - as well as the odd boogie woogie or rag time number.
My aim is to cater for different tastes and to create an atmosphere of ease and an ambience of relaxation. I am happy to accommodate personal musical requests during my performance as far as possible. If suitable, I will also add some own compositions to the mix. Inspiration comes from various corners, but some of my favourite jazz musicians are Herbie Hancock, Joe Sample and Jason Rebello on piano. On the saxaphone I would pick Maceo Parker and Stan Getz.
In my own approach I favour a rhythmical and melodic phrasing of solos and prefer to perform tunes, which also provide an enjoyable and approachable listening experience.
